The passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

We are greatly saddened by the announcement that Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II passed away on Thursday 8 September 2022 at Balmoral Castle. Her remarkable life and dedication is an inspiration to us all. At Purple Willows Day Nursery we will be learning about the life and service of the Queen as well as explaining the historic events which are about to unfold. This is a very sad time and and we offer our deep condolences to the royal family as we join the rest of the nation in mourning.
