Bringing young and old together in the Bexley community

We are pleased to be invited by Bupa in Sidcup to their fun-packed open day event on Friday 20th April. Our children will join their older friends at Abbotsleigh Mews Care Home, an initiative recently developed between Purple Willows and Abbotsleigh Mews to bring old and young together in the Bexley community and provides an extra aspect of social life experience.

We believe that older people teach valuable life lessons and the children visiting the elderly will help them respect their elders as they develop. This also enables the children to learn about differences between generation and about the world which is an essential part of the EYFS curriculum "Understanding the World".
